Sizing Instructions

Before You Measure

Take a moment to assess the way your nails grow and curve naturally.  Identify which of the nail curvatures below best represents the curve of your natural nail. Our press-ons are best suited to fit nails that have a "normal" curvature.  If you have convex, extreme convex, concave, or corrugated curvature, it may affect the fit and wear of your press-ons.

What You'll Need

Measuring tape or ruler, clear tape, pen/sharpie

How to Measure with Measuring Tape

  1. Using measuring tape, measure the widest part in the middle of you natural nail bed from side wall to side wall in millimeters.
  2. BE SURE to pull back the skin on each side wall to get the most accurate measurement.
  3. Record each measurement on a chart like the one shown in pictorial below. IMPORTANT: MAKE sure to measure each finger on each hand as your nails are often different sizes.  For example, your middle finger on your dominant hand may be a couple of millimeters wider than the middle finger of your non-dominant hand.

How to Measure with Ruler and Tape

  1. Use a piece of clear tape to lay across the widest part of your natural nail bed.
  2. BE SURE to pull back the skin on each side wall to get the most accurate measurement.  Mark each side with a pen from side wall to side wall.
  3. Remove the tape
  4. Lay tape across a ruler and measure the marked area in millimeters.
